Centre for Contemporary Photography
Print Resolution explored the use of the book within artistic and photographic practice, instrumental as a source of research and reference as well as a significant means of idea dissemination.
Print Resolution broadly considered the book–rather than the text–within the artistic imagination. To this end, the works presented address the materiality of the book rather than literary content. Importantly, this project explored the way we 'read' images, and questions what the format of the book enables and alters in regard to artistic and photographic practice.
Centre for Contemporary Photography presented new commissions and recent projects by Melbourne–based artists Christian Capurro, Tony Garifalakis and Arlo Mountford.
